🛠️ eSIM Installation and Setup Tutorial (Taking iPhone as an Example)

There are two ways to install an eSIM: one-click automatic installation via webpage (recommended!) and scanning a QR code (traditional method). Please ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network and that your phone supports eSIM functionality.

Method 1️⃣: One-click automatic installation via webpage (No QR code required, highly recommended! Provided by yosim Overseas Internet Access)

If you purchased your eSIM plan through yosim.com.tw , ​​you can use this fastest and easiest installation method.

  1. Redemption and Login:

    • Click the " Redemption Code Link " provided in the redemption code email to access the supplier's redemption page and complete the redemption process.

  2. Look for the auto-install button:

    • On the redemption page, find a prominent button, such as the yellow "Click here to automatically install eSIM " button.

  3. Click and confirm:

    • Click this button. Your phone will automatically redirect to the system settings page, prompting you to join the action plan .

    • Follow the on-screen instructions and select " Continue " or " Join the action plan " to complete the installation process.

Method 2️⃣: Install by scanning a QR code (traditional method)

  1. Preparation:

    • Make sure you have obtained your exclusive eSIM QR code from yosim (usually sent via email).

  2. Enter settings:

    • Open the " Settings " app on your phone.

  3. Select Action Service:

    • Select " Mobile Services " or " Mobile Data ".

  4. Join eSIM:

    • Select " Join eSIM " or " Join mobile plan ".

  5. Scan or enter manually:

    • Select " Use Mobile Barcode " and scan the eSIM QR Code you obtained.

    • If you are unable to scan, you can select " Manually enter details " and enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code.

  6. Confirm activation:

    • The system will detect the action plan. Select " Continue " or " Add to Action Plan ".

  7. Naming and Setting:

    • Name your eSIM plan (e.g., "yosim Japan") to distinguish it.

    • Choose an eSIM plan as your mobile data source.

If no other device can scan it, please remember to print out your eSIM QR code.

⚠️ Important Reminder (Applicable to all installation methods)

  • A set of eSIM QR codes or one-click installation links can usually only be used successfully once .

  • After successful installation, please do not delete this action plan at will, otherwise you will need to repurchase or pay for a new application.
